Jasmine majolica
Gelsomino majolica
It is the design that takes its name
from the very fragrant jasmine flower which in Sicily blooms in summer and flowering continues for a long time until almost December.
It has an intense, sensual and inebriating scent.
In the early 1900s it was cultivated in the Messina and Catania areas in order to extract the essential oil used in the formulation of perfumes.
