What you need to know

SiciliaDipinta was born with the aim of making Sicily known in the world through jewels and accessories that tell its story.
Each item is a unique piece, handcrafted and full of emotions contained within it, for this reason it acquires a particular value.
Personalized items are even more valuable.
Returns are not accepted due to the uniqueness of each item.
In case an article  should it not be as described and / or damaged, it will be possible to replace it by returning it and sending it again.

Jewelery maintenance

Always keep the jewelry in the iconic box I provide.
Each jewel / or accessory must be kept away from other rough objects or objects that could scratch it.
It should be advised to keep them away from chemicals and / or alcoholic substances such as perfumes, creams and cosmetics such as make-up.
They are water resistant but I always recommend not to wear them at the sea, in the pool or during sports, salt water, chlorinated water and sweat can corrode or damage the shine.
Please do not expose them to excessive heat sources.
Each piece of jewelry can be cleaned with a soft cotton cloth.
Over time, some parts and / or colors may become bronzed due to the normal oxidation given by the air.

How can I pay and what payment methods are accepted?

Payment takes place on the sitesiciliadipinta.it in the following ways:

Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay).

Cash on delivery payments are not accepted.

How are the jewels shipped?

Each jewel is placed inside the iconic box, carefully closed,  wrapped in tissue paper  and placed inside the shipping box.
If you need a gift box, it will also have a paper shopper with pack closure and colored ribbon according to the season.

Shipping costs, processing and shipping times

Shipping costs vary depending on the method and timing you prefer.

  • ITALY

​        â‚¬6 standard shipping*  carried out with SDA courier  (from 5 to 10 days working days in Italy) (from 3 to 5 working days in Sicily)*

  • €8 fast insured shipping 48H* with SDA courier

  • €10 fast shipping 48H* with UPS/DH courier

EUROPE:

  • 13€ shipping with UPS/DHL courier(from 4 to 7 working days)*

REST OF THE WORLD:

  • €15 registered mail(from 15 to 20 working days)*

*Times may vary depending on the location, islands and areas far from the city center​.

Processing times vary according to the type of object purchased, such as a personalized jewel will have particular times.
For all orders the processing time is 2/3 working days, excluding holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Each order purchased from  Friday to Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
There  shipping to Italy will take  from 2 to 5 working days depending on the area, it may be subject to advances or delays.
For the  European shipments the arrival time varies from 4  to 6 working days.
As for the United States and other countries outside the European Union, the timing is 20 working days.

With which courier are shipments made? Are they traceable?

Shipments to Italy and Europe  they are carried out with SDA, UPS or DHL courier depending on availability.

Each shipment is traceable and insured, you will receive an email with the relative data to track your shipment, to facilitate delivery I always recommend providing me with a telephone number to be contacted by the courier who will take care of your shipment.

Shipments to the United States and outside Europe will be sent via Italian Post with registered mail.

How are delays or non-deliveries managed?

Each order will arrive in the set time, it may happen that there is a delay in delivery due to events that I myself cannot manage;  therefore I recommend, in the case of a gift order and / or particular event,  to buy a few days or weeks before.

You will be informed via email of updates and arrival times, in case of no email you can  in any case, follow the shipping status via the traceability link provided at  time of shipment.

Each shipment has two delivery attempts, the courier will contact you by phone and otherwise will leave a notice of non-delivery.

For shipments made with SDA courier at the end of the second unsuccessful attempt, your order will be in postal storage for a period of 30 days, pending your collection on site (Poste Italiane).

In the case of other couriers such as UPS or DHL the package will return to the sender, after this return if you wish to send it again  you will have to take care of the shipping costs, even in cases where the first shipment  was on offer or free.

I do not take any responsibility in case of delays or any other event  carried out by couriers.

Shipments are made with couriers: SDA, UPS, DHL, BARTOLINI, POSTE ITALIANE.

After the purchase you will receive an email with the courier and shipping details.

 

Each shipment is traceable and presents the data to follow the sending status.

Shipping times are available on the purchase page.

 

The estimated times for each shipment may vary by one or two days, so if an order does not arrive on the day initially calculated, I invite you to track it and wait for the next day.

Delivery delays

In some locations, such as islands and addresses that are difficult for shipping personnel to reach, delivery delays may occur.

 

In case of events of particular attention such as, COVID emergency climate and health events, the shipment may be delayed.

 

Shipments made with some couriers such as SDA and UPS provide for two delivery attempts, thanks to the telephone number you provide me when purchasing the item, you will be contacted by the shipping staff.

You can agree on any delivery methods and times if you will be contacted by phone if you are not available for delivery.

I invite you to stay in the place provided for delivery to receive your order or otherwise hire someone to collect it.

 

I will not take any responsibility for non-delivery due to "ABSENT RECIPIENT". You are invited to manage your shipment in order to receive it on schedule.

After the two delivery attempts, the package will be processed by the post office. You can collect your order no later than 30 days (from the day of arrival at the post office) with a legible and valid identity document and tracking number. 

Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal, pursuant to art. 5 paragraph 3 DL 186/99, is valid until14 days from the date of receipt of the product if the goods have manufacturing problems.

Irregularities in the shapes or slight differences in color compared to the photo of the product on the shop are not recognized as manufacturing problems since, being artisanal products and therefore individually handmade, they are by their very nature to be considered unique pieces.


After this deadline no refund or exchange will be taken into consideration.
SiciliaDipinta remains available to resolve any problems relating to the product

(solutions and suggestions on how to proceed).
The return is not applicable to personalized or tailor-made products.

Furthermore, incorrect communications from the customer regarding customizations will not be considered valid for the return.


To exercise the right of withdrawal the customer must send an email within the deadline14 days, at the addressinfo@siciliadipinta.it by inserting theorder number and indicating the reasons for the return.
All costs related to the return of the products are entirely borne by the customer, which undertakes to return the product within10 daysfrom communication.

The refund of the product will take place within30 daysfrom the date of receipt of the return communication provided that:

  • the returned product is intact

  • all accessories contained in the package and any free gifts received with the order are returned and that these are intact

  • the product has not been used 

  • the product is returned in the intact original packaging

The refund will be made using the same payment method with which the product was purchased, unless indicated by the customer.

The refund may be withheld until proof of shipment of the product to be returned.

Please note that the shipping costs for the purchase of the product are not refundable under any circumstances.
Failure to return in the manner and terms indicated above implies the forfeiture of the return.
